The residency was well represented at the 2023 ASA Annual Meeting in San Francisco! Drs Dangerfield, Delgado, Dixson, Dubuque, Feng, Kan, Liu, Rich, and Tupinio presented medically challenging cases and podium presentations on a resident-led initiative to decrease burnout symptoms and a history of remifentanil. Our residents showed their full-bodied support for Dr. Egan’s Saturday morning talk on elevating total intravenous anesthesia (TIVA); as the hospital using (an order of magnitude) more TIVA than any other hospital in the US, our residents are very well educated in the indications and management of TIVA!
