On Friday, March 24th, the Anesthesiology Department celebrated Diane Wells’ immeasurable contributions and dedicated service as an integral lead member of the simulation team. A travel themed party was held in her honor which included: a visit from Klaus the simulation dummy, a suitcase shaped cake, and photos of Diane’s adventures from around the world.
During Diane’s 38 years at the University of Utah and 19-year tenure with the Anesthesiology Department, she has passionately taught medical students, residents, and faculty through carefully crafted simulations. Her hard work and devotion over the years has helped improve patient care and safety. Diane you will be greatly missed. We wish you every happiness in your new adventures!
