A Festive & Fun Night at the Department's Annual Holiday Celebration
On December 14th, the University of Utah Department of Anesthesiology gathered for a joyful holiday celebration at Rice-Eccles Stadium. The beautifully decorated venue created the perfect backdrop for an evening filled with laughter, dancing, and holiday cheer.
The night came alive with a spectacular performance by Metro Music Club, whose lively music kept the dance floor packed all evening. special moment of the evening was our Department Chair joining the band to perform "Fly Me to the Moon," with Skyler Arbon from our research team wowing the crowd on guitar. It was an unforgettable showcase of talent and a true highlight of the evening!
This wonderful event was brought to life by the hard work and creativity of Annalyse Erickson and Dylan Lowe, who planned a celebration that brought our entire department together in festive spirit. It was a perfect opportunity to reflect on the year’s successes, enjoy each other’s company, and look forward to the year ahead.
We are deeply grateful for our incredible team—faculty, staff, APCs, residents, fellows, and everyone who makes our department thrive. Your hard work and commitment inspire us every day, and celebrations like this remind us of the strong and vibrant community we’ve built together.
Thank you to Rice-Eccles Stadium for hosting us in their beautiful space and to everyone who joined us to make this night so special!
