Dr. Candace Chang Publishes Two Articles in ASA Monitor on Patient Safety & Global Health

We are proud to announce that Dr. Candace Chang, a key member of both the ASA Patient Safety & Education and Global Health Committees, had two impactful articles published in the June issue of the ASA Monitor.

The first article, titled “Impacting the Next Generation of Patient Safety Leaders,” discusses the ongoing efforts to inspire and train the next wave of professionals dedicated to advancing patient safety practices. Dr. Chang emphasizes the importance of education and mentorship in creating a safer healthcare environment.

In her second article, “Minding the Safety Gap: The Road Towards Global Health Equity in Anesthesia,” Dr. Chang explores the disparities in healthcare access and safety across the globe.
