Dr. Natalie Silverton and Team Secure Three Grants for Research on Acute Kidney Injury (AKI)

We are excited to announce that Dr. Natalie Silverton and team have successfully secured a National Kidney Foundation Grant, completing a trio of successful grant applications this season for their research on Acute Kidney Injury (AKI).

The awarded grants are:

  • Medtronic NIRS Study in Cardiac Surgery Patients: $93,000
  • Remote and Austere Conditions (RAC) Challenge Grant: $200,000
  • National Kidney Foundation: $15,000

Dr. Silverton's efforts have been pivotal in securing these funds, which will support critical research initiatives within the department. As we head into a busy fall, we look forward to significant advancements in our research endeavors.
